John Robert Powers Students Book Acting Jobs In National Commercials and TV Sitcoms

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 19, 2008 -- CEO of John Robert Powers, Ron Patterson, talked today about his latest John Robert Powers (http://www.johnrobertpowers.net) success stories this time focusing on John Robert Powers acting school graduates Doug and Chris Brochu.

"The Brochu brothers are shinning examples to us at John Robert Powers of just how remarkable our acting school system is in placing today's children and young adults in local and national commercials, television and films," said Ron Patterson. "Nothing makes us happier at John Robert Powers than to hear that our students are continuously booking top acting jobs especially in Hollywood. We are very proud of Chris and Doug Brochu," continued Ron Patterson.

Chris and Doug Brochu (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9d98ONt1dk) attended the Tampa based John Robert Powers school in 2005 and 2006. They both took classes in acting focusing on techniques to build their skills in print, commercials, television sitcoms and films. Doug Brochu was immediately more taken with the comedic side of acting while Chris was more interested in the commercial and film side of the business. While attending their John Robert Powers classes in Tampa, the brothers auditioned for iPOP! (International Presentation of Performers) and while attending the acting and modeling convention in New York immediately signed with acting agent, Jackie Lewis from Diverse Entertainment who currently has clients on Hannah Montana and in High School Musical. Soon after, the Brochu family moved to Hollywood and both their acting careers have taken off.

In the short time that Chris and Doug Brochu have lived in Hollywood, Chris Brochu has booked appearances on television shows Hannah Montana, Zoey 101 and Unfabulous as well as in the film Pose Down and the lead in feature film Solar Flares. Chris has made a public service announcement for StandUp and has filmed national commercials for Guitar Hero, Sunkist, Mitsubishi and appeared in a Bowling for Soup video.

Doug Brochu (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2377821/) has also appeared on Nickelodeon television series Zoey 101 as well as their popular series iCarly and is a series regular on the Disney Channel sitcom Sketchpad.
