Employment Background Investigations, Inc. Acquires Comprehensive Information Services
Owings Mills, Maryland (PRWeb) February 9, 2007 -- Employment Background Investigations, Inc. (EBI) has announced the acquisition of Pittsburgh-based Comprehensive Information Services, Inc. (CIS) to form one of the largest and most inclusive background screening firms in the industry, offering background checks, drug testing and occupational healthcare solutions worldwide.
CIS will change its name to operate under the EBI brand. CIS President and CEO Robert Capwell will join EBI’s Board of Directors and senior management team as Chief Knowledge Officer, responsible for marketing, communications, product development and information systems. The company will continue to operate out of Owings Mills and Pittsburgh, leveraging the two locations as part of its unique disaster recovery strategy.
